1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website of Chhaya Foundation Trust (chhayafoundationtrust.org), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our digital platforms.
2. Donations & Tax Exemptions
All donations made to Chhaya Foundation Trust are voluntary and utilized strictly for the rescue, feeding, sterilization, medical treatment, and sanctuary maintenance of vulnerable animals. Donations are eligible for 80G tax deductions subject to Indian Income Tax rules. Donors must provide a valid PAN for claiming 80G tax exemptions.
3. Refund Policy
As a nonprofit charitable trust, donations received are immediately allocated to emergency hospital medicines, ambulance fuel, and animal nutrition. Therefore, refunds are generally not permitted unless an erroneous duplicate transaction occurred due to technical errors. In such cases, contact info@chhayafoundation.in within 7 days with proof of transaction.
4. Animal Adoption Agreements
Submitting an adoption application does not automatically guarantee adoption. Chhaya Foundation Trust reserves the right to evaluate applicant living conditions and reject applications if doing so is in the best interest of the animal's welfare. Resold or commercial exploitation of adopted animals is strictly forbidden and punishable by law.
5. Jurisdiction
These terms and any legal disputes arising in connection with Chhaya Foundation Trust shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Panipat, Haryana.
